Karen Doherty

I am the mother of three girls and a boy. Before having children – four of them in five years – I worked at American television networks NBC, and CNBC as a news journalist and producer. I grew up in Pacific Palisades, California, and did my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California. Then I moved to England to do an MPhil in Management at Magdalen College, Oxford, where I met my husband, financier Peter Doherty. We live with our children in London and go back to the States every summer.

Georgia Coleridge

I am the mother of three boys and a girl. I worked at the Daily Mail for almost twenty years as a book reviewer, and was also the Children’s Book Editor. I’ve worked at You magazine and The Spectator and contributed to Radio 4’s Front Row, and I am also training to be a healer. I grew up in a large extended family in London and was educated at St Paul’s Girls’ School and Oxford. I’m married to the writer Nicholas Coleridge, and we live with our family in London and Worcestershire.
