FAQs

How long are our talks and workshops?

Talks are usually 45-60 minutes, plus an extra 30-45 minutes for coffee and questions.

Workshops are usually 1 ½ hours – 3 hours. They often work well in a series of 3 or more. We can also arrange full-day seminars, or even weekend retreats.

Which topics do we cover?

Click here for a list of our most popular talks, which include including confidence building, picky eaters and bullying. We can also cover many other topics. Click here for details of our custom talks.

What fees and expenses do we charge?

We work on a sliding scale, depending on your organisation and the type of talk(s) you’d like. We always try to be fair and flexible. Contact us and we can have a chat about it.

How can you get hold of our books?

We bring books to sell at a special discounted price after our talks. Some groups and companies like to order them in advance for all the participants.

What visuals do we use?

The talk works best with a PowerPoint presentation. Preferably we’d bring a memory stick to use with your audio visual equipment. But we can bring along a laptop if necessary. For smaller groups we’re happy to bring flipcharts.

What do we need?

We need two chairs, and a table (for the laptop if we are using PowerPoint). One or two remote clickers for the PowerPoint would be nice, but they aren’t essential. We also need a medium sized table to set up a mini-bookstall.

Timing

We aim to arrive about 45 minutes before the talk, to set up our books and make sure that the PowerPoint is working. If necessary, please email us any instructions about where to park, how to open gates, how to find the right office etc.

Do let us know if you have any other questions.
